Rex Bishop

1947–2007

Rex Bishop was a senior partner at Cass & Bishop. He passed away on May 9th, 2007. A man like Rex cannot be summed up in words, here. He was a complex man and led a life that was not ordinary for a self-proclaimed "poor boy from London." In his youth, he played music in the same 1960s British music scene as The Who, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. He earned a Ph.D. in English literature and became a University professor. He attended law school, passed the bar, and changed careers. He never boasted. He was a friend. We miss and think of him often. A memorial for Rex can be found at the Royal Bontanical Gardens, in Hendrie Park.
